The Danish Embassy in Vietnam and the Kim Dong Publishing House signed the agreement on December 29, 2005 to carry out a five-year project that aims at helping Vietnamese children to access new books.
The project will focus on improving the capacity of writers and painters of literature for children through seminars and creative camps.
Denmark will provide this project with 1.9 million Krona.
Furthermore, the Danish Embassy also has signed a co-operation agreement to grant 3.49 million Krona in a project to assist the teaching of Arts at primary education level in Vietnam. The Teachers’ Training College of the northern province of Thai Nguyen was selected for this project.
