“With that opportunity in the three countries, the Davao Region in Mindanao would have a huge market to showcase and sell its export products,” Cruz said.
“The Nordic countries are open to all we produce and the DTI will work to market and sell all of our products there,” Cruz said.
The Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Stockholm, Sweden, cooperates with the import promotion offices of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway to provide assistance to potential exporters from the Philippines, providing market information and advertising in their respective business newsletters, which in turn are disseminated to member companies.
Futhermore, the Association of Swedish Chambers of Commerce in coordination with the business organization of the Nordic countries can assist in business matching of any sales mission going there.
The Association of Swedish Chambers of Commerce is the import promotion arm of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
