SENSA Installs New Regional Advisor In Bangkok

Dr. Anders Granlund comes to SENSA after serving as Head of the Sida Information Communication Technology (ICT) Secretariat for developing countries.
Dr. Granlund has a background in Marine Micropaleontology, working as an Associate Professor, with a specialization in climate change and computer modeling of evolution rates. He enjoys more than 20 years of research experience from places such as Harvard, Woods Hole, Scripps Institution and the M. et P. Curie Institute in Paris.
In 1985, he joined the Swedish Agency for Research Cooperation with Developing Countries (SAREC) as Senior Research Officer. During this period he headed the Global SAREC Marine Science Program. In 1996, he was appointed Head of Division for Sida Research Council and the ICT Secretariat.
From 2000 to 2003 he was Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
