Volvo Dealer Opens Showroom In Cebu

After Pasajero Motors Corp (Pamocor), exclusive distributor of Volvo cars in the Central Visayas, formally opened its showroom located on A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City Friday 21, Volvo Cebu is now showcasing three models including the S40 compact sedan, the S60, and the XC70 Cross Country.
“A lot more is in store for Cebu and neighboring regions as Volvo rolls on to bring automotive excellence and customer service to this part of the country,” Viking Cars Inc. (VCI) president and chief executive officer Albert Arcilla said.
Pamocor signed a contract with VCI, the authorized dealer of Volvo cars in the country in May 2005. The Cebu showroom is housed in a three-level building that sits on a 1.3-hectare lot and includes a customer service center and a 600-square meter parking lot.
Volvo cars are manufactured by the 78-year-old Volvo Car Corp. (VCC), which is founded by Swedish Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larson.
There are about 3,000 Volvos running on the roads of the Philippines today.
