Nera Telecommunications Ltd, Singapore (NeraTel) announced on 18 February 2003 that its wholly-owned subsidiary, P.T. Nera Indonesia, has entered into a supplementary agreement amounting to S$13.9 million with P.T. Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel)
Telkomsel holds nationwide cellular licence to provide and operate a GSM mobile telephone network in the Republic of Indonesia.
Under the agreement, P.T. Nera will delivery, install, test and commission SDH Microwave Radio for Telkomsel. The Indonesian subsidiary will also be responsible of project management, maintenance support, training and other related services.
The company expected, however, that the agreement would not have a significant impact on the performance of the group for the current financial year.
