Hoping to find potential business partners, the delegation will visit Malaysia from Sunday October 22 to Wednesday October 25. The visit has been arranged by the Danish embassy in Kuala Lumpur, who will also host the delegation throughout their stay. The visiting companies are all members of the Confederation of Danish Industries (Dansk Industri) and its so-called industry branch for IT, Telecommunication, Electronics, and Communication (ITEK).
The Danish companies will be given opportunities to closely observe the possibilities for cooperation with and sourcing from Malaysian and international IT companies which are placed in Malaysia. The delegation’s schedule will especially focus on software, electronics, as well as built-in systems.
The Danish IT delegation will primarily visit companies in Penang as well as companies within The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) in and around the capitol of Kuala Lumpur.
The Danish embassy in Kuala Lumpur informs that this tour is arranged in cooperation with Invest Penang, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Software Consortium of Penang, and Multimedia Development Cooperation. Following their visit in Malaysia, the delegation will proceed to Bangalore in India.
