Norway-based DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd announced on June 22, 2007 of its continued support to the SMI Association of Malaysia with the sponsorship of the annual Small Medium Business achievers recognition award, the SMB Recognition Series 2007 (“SMB Award 2007”), that will be held on 23 November 2007 in Malaysia.
The SMI Association of Malaysia is entering its sixth year in organizing its annual outstanding small medium business achievers recognition to the Small Medium Enterprises that achieved excellence in their respective industries and have contributed to the economic growth of the country.
This year’s theme, “Towards Global Excellence”, fits in with DiGi’s aim to support, recognize, benchmark and measure the level of excellence and success of SME of all industries and business sectors in Malaysia.
Commenting on the sponsorship, DiGi’s Head of Enterprise Business, Yohani Yusof said, “As a brand that is inspired by the innovative entrepreneur spirit, DiGi is proud to be able to use our technology and experience in working with the SMI/SME to help ensure the success of this event.”
