Breakfast Meeting With Swedish Trade Council from Taiwan

Monthly Breakfast Meeting organized by the Thai-Finnish Chamber of Commerce was held on June 5th, 2007 at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and the topic for the Breakfast Meeting was “Changing roles China-Taiwan versus Thailand & South East Asia” with guest speaker from Swedish Trade Council, Taiwan.
The guest speaker in the event was Mr. Henrik Byström from Swedish Trade Council, Taiwan. Mr. Byström briefed us about Taiwan’s economy and industry, comparing it to the other countries in Asia region. The dynamics of Taiwan are well known. But we did not all know how totally dominating Taiwan is in many IT related fields. Participating Members were briefed also on the cross straight situation, security risks and implications for Thailand during this very interesting morning.
