Norwegian-Owned House Has Been Ransacked

Police Lieutenant Colonel Grit from Pattaya Police Station was called to a house in Soi Bongkot, Central Pattaya, Thailand just after daybreak on the morning of August 23, 2007 after the Norwegian house owner, Mr. Halsan Kenne, reported a break-in.
Arriving at the scene, Police were met by Mr. Halsan Kenne aged 45 and his Thai Girlfriend, Khun Nata aged 30. They explained that they woke up and found the ground floor had been ransacked and items had been taken. The point of entry was the front door as the pair had forgotten to lock the door before they went to sleep. A total of 200,000 Baht’s worth of cash and valuables were taken including a mobile phone, credit cards, Norwegian Krona, Thai Baht and passports.
Police were unable to take any fingerprints from the scene and there were no witnesses to the crime leaving Police with the hard task of locating the assailant and recovering the stolen items.
