Sweden-Vietnam parliamentary cooperation continues

The second phase of cooperation between the parliaments of Sweden and Vietnam will be carried out through the next four years. The agreement has been signed in Hanoi on June 27.
     The project focus on inspection function and public media information of the parliament to help cadre of the parliament office and parliament delegates raise their capacity. Technical assistance will also be provided to Vietnam via training and other forms.
     The cooperation will be financed by a grant of SEK 20 million from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and a contribution of VND2.4 billion from Vietnam.
