Le Thi Thu new head of Vietnam –Sweden Friendship Association

Cabinet Minister and Chairman of the National Committee for Population, Family and Children, Le Thi Thu, has been elected as new President of the Vietnam – Sweden Friendship Association (VSFA).
     The election was held at the 2nd VSFA congress in Hanoi recently. During the 2003-2008 tenure will focus be on the two countries’ cooperation in the fields of trade, science, technology, culture, education and tourism.
     VSFA also set its plan to strengthen cooperation with Sweden’s economic organisations and enterprises, which operate in Viet Nam, as well as to facilitate stronger ties of the two countries’ socio-cultural organizations.
