Vietnam Water Puppetry Visits Sweden

Hanoi-based Thang Long Puppetry Theatre kicked off a water puppetry show on Lake Grona Lund in Stockholm, Sweden on September 20, 2007.
The Show was supported by the Vietnamese Embassy in Stockholm, this tour is aimed to promote Vietnamese culture, especially among famous names in the cultural arena in Sweden, those engaged in cultural and commercial exchanges with Vietnam, as well as audiences in Stockholm.
The Vietnamese puppetry delegation will later perform in London. Thang Long Puppetry Theatre at present is also taking part in two international culture and art festivals in Mexico.
