Johan Dennelind New CEO in DiGi

Malaysia’s fastest growing mobile operator, DiGi, announced the successor to Mr. Morten Lundahl as company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) this Tuesday. The new CEO will be the Swedish Mr. Johan Dennelind, who will take the seat following Morten Lundahl’s resignation on March 31st.
Johan Dennelind is in no means new to DiGi, as he has earlier served as both Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the company. He has also been CFO, CMO and deputy CEO of Telenor Sweden. Johan Dennelind is bringing with him his wife and two children.
“I am honoured to get this opportunity. Coming back to a company I am already familiar with is naturally an advantage, and I am truly excited about the opportunities ahead for DiGi. My intire family is also looking forward to returning to our second home in Malaysia”, Johan Dennelind says in a company press release.
Mr. Arve Johansen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DiGi is very exited about Johan Dennelind as the new CEO of DiGi:
“We are very pleased to have Johan Dennelind as DiGi’s new Chief Executive Officer. DiGi is fortunate to get a CEO already well acquainted with the company, the staff, the customers and of course the Malaysian society. The Board of Directors welcomes Johan back to Malaysia, and we are looking forward to co-operating with him again”, he says.
