A Vietnamese and Swedish music festival opened in Hanoi’s Opera House on Tuesday 23 September by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture and Information and the Swedish embassy.
The festival is seen as an opportunity to boost cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Sweden through their contemporary and traditional music, writes news agency VNA.
After Hanoi the festival continues in the northern coal mining province Quang Ninh September 26.
