…And The Winner Will Go To Sweden

The Asian round of the 33rd Association for Computing Machinery International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from November 20-23.
    The Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP) said nearly 100 university and college teams have registered to participate in the regional contest including Vietnam, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong and China.
    The winners of HCMC regional contest will attend the finals to be held in Stockhom, Sweden in April 2009.
    VAIP said the 17th Vietnam Olympic Informatics Contest for students will take place concurrently with the ACM/ICPC regional round.
    The ACM/ICPC is an activity of the ACM that provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate and sharpen their problem-solving and computing skills.
