According to the Swedish Travel industry Thailand is the best travel destination. The Swedish Travel Trade has rated the Thailand The World’s Best Tourist Country 2009. The award was presented at the annual award presentation organized by the Swedish magazine Travel News at Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
The Grand Travel Awards was arranged for the 17th time and the election is made by a Swedish travel trade jury. Thailand was nominated to the prestigious award along with South Africa, USA, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Egypt.
