Former reporter RP ambassador to Sweden

Consul General Victoria S. Bataclan of the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong has been appointed ambassador of the Philippines to Sweden.
     The position includes accreditation to Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway.
     Victoria S. Bataclan is a former radio announcer and reporter of ABS-CBN. As consul general in Hong Kong she has become known as a leading exponent of workers’ protection from abuse and exploitation. She has also served in Geneva and Vienna.
