Thai Airways in Sweden has entered into a four-year IP telephony contract with Swedish IT company Carl Lamm under the agreement the IT company will provide Thai Airways with hardware, a traffic management solution and switchboard functionality. The switchboard is virtual, which allows traffic flow to be reconfigured quickly. It also enables traffic flow monitoring.
Carl Lamm is providing both the server and the traffic management solution. Previously Thai Airways used a traditional telephone exchange solution and departments within the company leased different solutions.
