Royal Visit to Malaysia Ends

The official visit to Malaysia of the Crown Prince Couple from Norway ended on Wednesday 10 March when the couple departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Bangkok and Oslo.

The programme of the last day consisted of following activities.
– Opening of an exhibition of Norwegian Architecture (open for the local Norwegian community)
– Lunch at Mandarin Hotel with Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment
– Visit to Jotun’s paint factory, where Regional Director Peder Bolin showed the Royal couple a model of a new Jotun factory in Nilai.
 – Visit to Aker Solutions in Port Klang where Executive President Mads Andersen gave a presentation.
– Departure

ScandAsia’s planned close coverage of the visit was called off early on Wednesday because of the treatment we received from the assigned media coordinator and other parties involved in organizing the visit.
