The Malaysian Deputy Foreign Minister Kohilan Pillay did Wednesday meet with his Swedish colleague Frank Belfrag in Putrajaya, according to Nam News Network.
The ministers discussed the current state of bilateral relations and an change views on regional and international issues.
Both sides noted the situation in Myanmar, the Middle East peace process, Malaysia’s relations with the European Union (EU) and the recent developments in both the EU and the Association of South East Asian Nations (Asean).
Frank Belfrag was in Malaysia to attend a meeting of Heads of Mission of Swedish ambassadors from the Asia-Pacific region.
