Great Interest for Danish Products at Energy Seminar

The Royal Danish Embassy in cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recently hosted the annual “Indonesian-Danish Sustainable Energy Seminar 2010”.

The seminar was opened by Børge Petersen, Ambassador of Denmark to Indonesia and followed by presentations by key speakers from the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as well as a representative from the Danish B2B programme.

Seven Danish companies, all operating within the fields of sustainable and efficient energy solutions, presented their competencies at the seminar. The presentations were attended by more than 130 Indonesian participants including both government officials and private sector representatives.

During and after the Danish company presentations, B2B meetings were arranged allowing the participants to directly share ideas and knowledge on sustainable energy solutions and to discuss the Indonesian business context and future potential partnerships. In total, 70 different B2B meetings took place during the seminar and the Embassy received very positive feedback from the Danish participants. The B2B meetings were perceived as being very useful and highly informative as many qualified Indonesian contacts and potential partners were identified.

It is believed that the seminar will boost the future cooperation between Danish and Indonesian companies and lead to mutual benefits for all parties.
