The Norwegian hard rock band Turdus Musicus returns to China for a three week tour across the country. The tour begins on the 3rd of May in Beijing where the band will play alongside Chinese rockers Tookoo at the well-known MIDI Festival.
Turdus Musicus from Northern Norway has recently released a new album, At the end of the day (26. March) and are eager to present their new material to Chinese rock fans. The band consists of Carl Christian Lein Stormer, Finn Fodstad, Paulo Alejandro Velasquez and Aleksander Johannessen.
They have been widely appraised in Scandinavian press for their notoriously wild and off the hook live shows. The group has also featured in multiple international snow/skate/surf films and recent extensive touring in the United States has earned the Norwegian hardcore heroes a solid name amongst their peers stateside in both the metal, hardcore and punk scene.
Turdus Musicus also have considerable links with China. The Chinese rock band Tookoo recently accompanied them as special guests on their release tour in Norway. The band has also toured China before playing at such venues as Vox in Wuhan, Yu Yin Tang in Shanghai, D22, MAO and Starlive in Beijing. Besides the Beijing Midi Festival, the hard rockers will also play at the Shanghai Carnival Midi Festival.
