Talented Swedish Chef in Bangkok

As part of its ongoing culinary promotion, the Millennium Hilton Bangkok on Charoen Nakhon Road will play host to another talented guest chef, Michael Elfwing, chef de cuisine at the award-winning Senses restaurant at the spectacular Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

As part of the talented team at Senses, chef Michael is a rising star and his masterful creations in the kitchen amuse his guests – and their palates – making them come back for more. The young chef has contributed to the restaurant winning the prestigious 5-star Diamond Award, which confirmed its status as one of the best restaurants in the world. Senses also won the Hospitality Asia Award for Best Western Cuisine.

In Bangkok from June 23-27, the charming Swedish chef will find a natural home at the hotel’s award-winning steak house, Prime. During his 5-day stay, chef Michael will be offering a special a la carte menu created specially for Prime, as well as a nightly wine dinner priced at 4,500 baht. Each course of the dinner will be matched with a corresponding vintage that will entice the subtle flavours of every dish.

To get a little more hands-on, chef Michael will host a cooking class on Saturday, June 26 at Prime for 2,000 baht. The class will be finished with a 3-course set lunch with fine wine. Then on Sunday, June 27, chef Michael will be at the riverside buffet restaurant Flow, preparing his finest creations alongside the myriad of cuisines offered every week.
