Danish Minister Met Chinese Vice Premier

China International Forum on the Green Industries and Green Economy 2010, or simply ‘Green EXPO’, opened at Beijing exhibition Centre yesterday. Danish Minister for Taxation, Mr. Troels Lund Poulsen gave a speech at the opening ceremony and met with Chinese Vice Premier, Mr. Li Keqiang.

Denmark is famed for its dedication to sustainability and was an obvious participant at the opening of Green EXPO in Beijing yesterday.

Danish Minister of Taxation, Mr. Troels Lund Poulsen, took part in the event and gave a speech expressing the Danish views on the conference theme: Green Economy – Mutual Benefit.

The Danish Minister for Taxation also had a meeting with key note speaker and China’s Vice Premier, Mr. Li Keqiang.

One of the main purposes of Green EXPO is to guide Chinese companies to focus on energy saving, environment-friendly and low-carbon technologies and green economy.

Besides Mr. Troels Lund Poulsen, eight Danish companies are taking part in the event showcasing how Danish experience and technology can help benefit the environment and the world at large. The 8 companies are, Vestas, Danfoss, Novozymes, Grundfos, Topsøe, Mita-Teknik, Velux and Cowi. Green EXPO will be open from November 24 up to and including November 27.
