The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2011. To mark the occasion, the Chamber will award a HK$100,000 Anniversary Internship Grant to a recently graduated university student.
The winner will be invited to complete a ten-month internship at the Chamber, starting September 1, 2011. The cash grant will be distributed in monthly installments to support the recipient’s living expenses. In addition, the Chamber will reimburse one roundtrip airfare Sweden – Hong Kong.
The Anniversary Internship Grant highlights the long-term presence, commitment and spearhead position of Swedish businesses in Hong Kong and South China. It also highlights the instrumental part played by the Chamber in advancing Swedish interests in the region during the past quarter of a century.
Said Chamber chairman, Mr. Stefan Rönnquist: ”We are proud of our vibrant member body and our numerous activities, publications and events throughout the year. By awarding the Anniversary Internship Grant we intend to create an opportunity for a talented young professional to come to Hong Kong and participate in our inspiring mission.”
