Danish Fishing Equipment Good for Asia

The Seafood Processing Europe exhibition 3 – 5 May 2011 in Brussels Exhibition & Conference Centre in Belgium will this year have a display of Danish Fishing Equipment from 16 different companies representing the whole production flow – from fishing vessel to fresh, frozen, ready-to-load-on-truck products.
The exhibiting companies believe Asian buyers should have a look how their solutions which have brought profitability back in the Danish fishing industry. Denmark has more than 3,000 companies within the fishing industry, and the revenue of the industrial fishery sector has risen 86 percent during 2010.
The exhibitors are all members of the Danish Fishing Equipment Group which works as a link between Danish subcontractors and foreign buyers. The group was founded in 1976 and consists of about 70 members, making it the largest network of its kind in Scandinavia. Its members specialize in modern machinery, equipment and products for the international fishing industry.

What is on display in Brussels is the Danish response to the financial, environmental and quality problems facing the fishing industry worldwide. The companies are:
