Opening of the Home Away From Home Exhibition

In celebration of International Friendship Day, Singapore Discovery Centre launched the “Home Away From Home” exhibition. The Royal Norwegian Embassy was given the privilege of introducing Norway to Singaporean school children.

The exhibition highlights Singapore as a global city and a melting pot of different cultures. It invites children to learn about different countries through pictures, interesting facts, and allows them to try activities such as making Norwegian Christmas hearts.

Several expats have contributed to the exhibition by sharing their views on Singapore as a home away from home. Pictures are on display with interesting comments on what makes living in Singapore exciting and exotic for Norwegians living in Singapore.
