The Norwegian Peace Facilitation Team recently met with President Benigno S. Aquino III. The Norwegian team was lead by Special Envoy for the Peace Process, Ambassador Ture Lundh and the Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines, Knut Solem.

Gazmin; Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo; Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. The Norwegian Peace Facilitation team was composed of Special Envoy for the Peace Process, Ambassador Ture Lundh; Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines, Knut Solem and Advisors Aina Holm and Ida Marstein.
Norway is the third-party facilitator of the ongoing peace negotiations between the Government of the Philippines and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP). The latest round of formal peace negotiations convened on 15 February 2011 in Oslo.
