The 7th annual HanseTag with the German Business Association and Nordic Chamber of Commerce in HCMC was a beer, music and a colorful party event held on the 16th of May.
The Hansetag was this year organized as a joint event with GBA and NordCham who had chosen to celebrate this HanseTag event on a boat. The party set sail at 4.30 pm and moved down Saigon river. Cold beer and German, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian food was enjoyed with a fantastic scenery. The contrast between the skyscrapers of downtown Ho Chi Minh City and tin houses from the undeveloped area on the opposite side of the Saigon River was a beautiful view in bright sunshine.
The music was German schlager and contemporary songs by popular Vietnamese bands. Many people chose to enjoy this Saturday with good food and music. In the good company, the trip quickly became a five-hour party cruise. The event was a success which will strengthen the community between the GBA and NordCham.
