Danish Business Delegation to South East Asia

A Danish business delegation will visit Kuala Lumpur and Singapore from 26 September to 1 October this year for Danish companies interested in sourcing or developing and strategic partnerships in Southeast Asia.       The delegation is organized by Danish Chamber of Commerce and the Danish Embassies in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and will be led by the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of the Danish Trade Council, Mr. Henning Dyremose.       The objectives of the trip are to establish contacts with the local authorities, potential partners and advisors, exchange experiences between the delegates and find out how to source, the pitfalls and problems that businessmen may run into as well as the Dos and Don’ts. Areas of discussions include globalization, increased competition and the need for looking at new ways of tackling challenges, exploring comparative advantages and enhancing cost effectiveness through sourcing and other market opportunities.       In each of the two countries, the local Danish business community and guests will take part in the event.
