Dalarna, a Swedish region, is this week host to a 100-man large delegation from the Chinese town Wuhan in Hubei province. Some 50 members of the delegation consists of representatives of Chinese businesses that are here to meet Swedish companies and create significant business contacts.
The event includes field trips to among others Borlänge Energi, in cooperation with SSAB and Stora Enso, a match-making session and seminar presentations.
Among the Swedish companies that are going to meet potential partners from China are ABB, ÅF, Dellner Couplers and Ericsson
In the afternoon of Wednesday 7 September, an agreement will be signed between the Chinese environmental engineering company, Wuhan DMIX and the Swedish Environmental Research Institute IVL.
“We hope that this event will create many interesting business opportunities or open up for future deals,” says Marie Ericson, director of the Enterprise Europe Network, who has been in charge of matching the companies.
