Lesjöfors, the Swedish market leading spring manufacturer, is pleased with its investments in the Chinese market. Both traditional springs and other components produced by Lejjofors have met increased demand.
The increased volumes have resulted in enhanced organization, investments in additional manufacturing capacity and new production technology. This year, Lesjöfors production plant in Changzhou in 2011 has been extended from 2500 to 6000 square feet. The new plant is now in full production.
Press capacity has doubled and now offer everything from small, manual presses up to 110-ton automatic presses. Efforts were also made to expand the capacity and expertise in laser technology such as laser welding and laser marking.
The investment means that a great deal of technical knowhow has now been transferred and Lesjöfors is ready to support new and existing customers. China Division also offers the entire range of products of the Lesjöfors Group through trading from sister companies.
