President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received the credentials of Her Excellency Grete Sillasen, Resident Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Philippines, in a ceremony held at the Reception Hall of Malacañan Palace on 5th December 2019.
According to the Presidential Broadcast Staff, Radio Television Malacañang, President Duterte welcomed the Ambassador with the words:
“Your Excellency, Ambassador Grete Sillasen, I welcome you to the Philippines and we are ready to accept you as the Ambassador of Denmark. And luckily, we have our embassy now at Copenhagen,” to Ambassador Sillasen when he accepted her credentials and letter of recall from the previous Danish envoy to the Philippines, Ambassador Jan Top Christensen.
