
Swedish automotive safety company Autoliv has signed a new global strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese carmaker Great Wall Motor (GWM), expanding a partnership that began in 2023, according to Autoliv.
The agreement is intended to support Great Wall Motor’s international expansion while strengthening cooperation on supply chains, local operations, integrated vehicle safety systems and sustainable growth.
“Today’s agreement marks an important step in our continued collaboration with Great Wall Motor. By combining GWM’s international growth ambitions with Autoliv’s global capabilities in automotive safety, we are strengthening the foundation for an even more integrated and resilient partnership,” Autoliv CEO Mikael Bratt said.
According to Autoliv, the agreement also aims to strengthen innovation and product development as the two companies deepen their long-term global partnership.
