Faroese salmon farmer Bakkafrost saw sales to the Chinese market grow 122% from 2012 to 2013, a result of actively marketing there, said CEO Regin Jacobsen.
China has been a focus for the company since 2009, he told Undercurrent News, with efforts going towards marketing Faroese salmon at trade shows such as the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo.
