Bangkok ranks tenth globally for rooftop views

Bangkok has been ranked the tenth-best city in the world for rooftop views, according to a recent study by Heepsy. The study assessed cities based on skyscraper density, social media popularity, and rooftop hospitality offerings, assigning Bangkok a composite score of 82.4.

The city is home to 142 skyscrapers and 110 rooftop bars, fostering a vibrant rooftop culture. Additionally, its popularity is reflected in social media trends, with 643,000 Instagram hashtags related to rooftop experiences in Bangkok.

Heepsy’s study evaluated cities using factors such as the number of skyscrapers exceeding 150 meters, global search interest in rooftop-related terms, and the availability of rooftop bars and restaurants. Rankings were determined through composite scoring, aiming to present an objective measure of the world’s best rooftop destinations.
