In keeping with the tradition, the Danish Seamen’s Church in Singapore is inviting everyone to its annual Christmas Bazaar.

The merry days will take place this coming weekend on 23 and 24 of November 2019.

“The beautiful indoor and outdoor surroundings of the old heritage building will be filled with handmade advent wreaths, beautiful Christmas decorations, Danish design items and yummy Christmas delicacies,” the church writes in a press release.

If you are Danish and feeling homesick for the food, this is your opportunity to indulge in smørrebrød (open faced rye sandwiches), and sweets such as æbleskiver (apple doughnuts) and risalamande (sweet rice porridge).

If you are unfamiliar with any of those foods, it is simply a good opportunity to try them for the first time.

It is possible to buy whatever your heart desires for a classical Danish Christmas lunch or dinner, if you like what you taste,

Furthermore, visitors can look forward to tunes from Christmas carols and a live ukulele band.

When the children need to blow off some steam, they can let their hair down in the creative play area. And of course, there will also be a special someone stopping by to check his list of naughty and nice kids.

Entrance to the bazaar is 2 SGD and 15 SGD for a kids pass giving entry to the play area. The kids pass also includes a hotdog, a soft drink and a sweet treat.
