A contemporary jewellery exhibition by a Danish artist opens in Bangkok today on Thursday Novmber 21.
It is the ATTA Gallery who will host the opening of BANKO{K}LLECTION, a contemporary jewellery exhibition by Danish artist, Marie-Louise Kristensen.
Ms. Kristensen told the Danish Embassy about the exhibition:
“My pieces combine fragments and elements, physical as well as psychological, from my stay in Bangkok (December/January 2012/2013) … The exhibition gives a kaleidoscopic, yet unified portrait of Bangkok and it will probably demand a second look from the viewer in order to sense the underlying bewildered, hazy and fragmented characteristics of the city”.
The opening reception of the exhibition is tonight at 18:30-20:30 at ATTA Gallery at OP Garden Shopping Center in Soi Charoenkrung 36 but the exhibition will run until Jan. 4, 2014.
Besides being present at the opening reception, Marie-Louise will be giving a casual artist’s talk on Nov. 22 from 11:00-12:00 at Pacertique, a newly opened coffee shop near ATTA Gallery.
