Danish politician visited Danish Embassy in Bangkok

Party Leader of Socialistisk Folkeparti (Socialist People’s Party) and member of the Danish Parliament Pia Olsen Dyhr visited the Embassy of Denmark in Bangkok on 28 November.

Since Pia Olsen Dyhr earlier has served as the Danish Minister for Trade and Investment, she met with old colleagues and friends at the Embassy, according to the Embassy itself.

The Danish Ambassador, Mr. Uffe Wolffhechel, and Deputy Head of Mission, Anders L. Graugaard, briefed her on the political situation in Thailand as well as Danish-Thai relations.

Afterwards, she visited the historic headquarters of the East Asiatic Company that dates back to 1884, where the Danish Captain H. N. Andersen started the successful teak exporting company.

Pia Olsen Dyhr is born on 30 November 1971 in Vallensbæk and has been a member of the Danish Parliament since 2015.
