Denmark is stepping up its focus on Vietnam’s fast-growing agri-food sector with a new export delegation planned for Ho Chi Minh City later this year.

The initiative is organised by the Danish Agriculture & Food Council in collaboration with the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam and will bring Danish companies to Vietnam from 28 September to 2 October 2026.

The delegation aims to connect Danish businesses with Vietnamese partners across the agriculture and food production value chain, including livestock, processing, equipment and sustainable farming solutions.

Growing demand in Vietnam

Vietnam’s agri-food sector is growing, as the country develops and raises standards for food safety, efficiency and sustainability. This is increasing demand for technologies and solutions in areas such as dairy production, waste management and farm operations.

During the visit, participating companies will meet local authorities, industry representatives and potential partners, as well as take part in site visits and business forums in and around Ho Chi Minh City.

The delegation is part of Denmark’s broader efforts to strengthen trade and investment ties with Vietnam in key growth sectors.
