Denmark’s Princess Benedikte concludes Malaysia visit

H.R.H. Princess Benedikte’s has recently concluded her visit to Malaysia from 11 to 16 January. Her Royal Highness is patron of the Olave Baden-Powell Society (OB-PS), which supports the work of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to enable girls and young women to develop their full potential as responsible citizens of the world.benedikt2

The princess attended the Society’s Board meeting, which was held in Kuala Lumpur. The program also included tea with Her Majesty the Queen Tuanku Hajah Haminah, who is Patron of the Malaysian Girl Guides Association, and lunch with the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Paduka Rosmah Mansor, who is President of Malaysia Girl Guides Association.

Among other activities attended by Princess Benedikte was her participation in a roundtable discussion on the fight against diabetes.
