The famous Swedish drama series “30 grader i Februari” has returned with immediate succes. The drama focuses on Swedes leaving Sweden for Thailand in the search of a better life. First episode of this season aired on 2th February and was a viewer succes with 1.5 million Swedes following.
The series premiered on SVT in 2012 with same succes, being awarded as the “TV-drama of 2012” and “TV-event of 2012” at the Kristallen 2012 awardshow.
As mentioned the drama is about three main characters trying to find happiness in Thailand, as hundreds of Swedes do every year. The role list counts prominent names as, Kjell Bergqvist, Lotta Tehle, Maria Lundqvist and Kjell Wilhelmsen.
First season ran in 2012 with a total of ten episodes. The second season running this year will add another ten episodes.
“In the second season of 30 degrees in February many of the much loved characters returns, but we will see sides of them”, project manager on the series, Peter Zell, revealed before the new season premiered.
