H.R.H Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark follows in the footsteps of his father, H.R.H. Prince Henrik as patron of the Chamber of Commerce Danish-Chinese Business Forum, which supports Danish companies, knowledge institutions, municipalities and regions trade and involvement in and with China.
Prince Henrik, who had a well known interest in China and Asia, was patron of Danish-Chinese Business Forum (DCBF) from 2006 until his death.
“Today we can announce that the Crown Prince will be patron of Danish-Chinese Business Forum. Based on the Crown Prince’s work and commitment to Danish business and Danish positions of strength in an international context, we are pleased that the Crown Prince can help raise awareness of the Chamber of Commerce’s work for Danish companies with the Chamber’s Chinese partners in both Chinese business and official China, ” Tom Behrens-Sørensen. Danish-Chinese Business Forum’s Secretary General said in the official statement.
Hans Henrik Pontoppidan, secretary general of the Danish-Chines Business Forum also welcomes and is pleased to be working with the Royal Court.
“From a Chinese point of view, Danish-Chinese Business Forum also has a particularly important role as a link between China’s government, business and academia. Danish-Chinese Business Forum is therefore regarded as an important messenger of business needs and desires in relation to the strengthening of commercial relations at a national level between China and Denmark. That is why it is important that Danish-Chinese Business Forum in Denmark has the highest level of support that can assist us in our efforts regarding the Danish business interests in China and the Danish-Chinese commercial cooperation relations,” Hans Henrik Pontoppidan said.
