HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, celebrated its first birthday in late December, having made, in just 12 months, 12 major announcements including the introduction of eleven new devices, and global partnerships with industry heavyweights such as ZEISS.

HMD Global arrived on the scene to incredible fanfare, marked by the return of the Nokia 3310 at Mobile World Congress 2017, and the introduction of its first, global wave of Android smartphones. The new portfolio won over 20 awards at the show and sold out across markets. Today, Nokia phones are on sale across more than 80 countries on 45 local websites across 48 languages. Devices have already been activated in more than 170 countries.

During 2018 the company’s commitment to its partnerships aims to deliver purposeful innovation to fans and set new standards for what to expect from a smartphone, states the Finnish company.

With a comprehensive and differentiated product portfolio delivered in just one year, HMD Global has maintained its commitment to delivering pure Android to all its smartphones. Staying true to the famous design heritage of Nokia phones, each device is crafted with three guiding principles in mind – technology with purpose, human design, and pure, secure and up-to-date Android.

In 2018 HMD has just unveiled the 4G version of the Nokia 3310. The new Nokia 3310 4G is meant to be introduced in those countries where the 3G model is not available or hasn’t been that successful.

The feature phone is now listed on Nokia China official website. It comes with 4G LTE support, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and FM Radio. The new Nokia 3310 4G packs 512MB expandable storage (up to 64GB) and sports a 2.4-inch display, along with a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash. Moreover, the Nokia 3310 4G features VoLTE HD (voice over LTE) and allows users to turn it into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and share their internet connection with other devices.
