During his end of July until early August 2015 visit to Malaysia H.R. H. Crown Prince Frederik presented the Danish Export Association’s Diploma and HRH Prince Henrik’s Medal of Honour to Carlsberg Malaysia, a company with a 40-year history in the Southeast-Asian country.
Carlsberg Malaysia was pleased to receive the Diploma and royal Medal of Honour in recognition of outstanding efforts in promoting and marketing Danish products and services abroad.
“We are indeed very honoured to be bestowed this prestigious award,” announced the world-famous brewery.
The Diploma of the Danish Export Association & HRH Prince Henrik’s Medal of Honour is awarded in recognition of an outstanding effort in promoting and marketing Danish products and services abroad.
In 1982, the National Association for Danish Enterprise, Dansk Arbejde, founded this prestigious award in close co-operation with the Royal Danish Court and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Award is given to agents, distributors, subsidiaries or companies based abroad approximately fifteen times a year.
His Royal Highness Prince Henrik, another member of the Royal Family or a worthy representative of the Royal Danish Court presents the winner with the award in the recipient’s country.
The Danish Export Association administers the award in close co-operation with the Danish Trade Council and the embassy in the recipient’s country.
Any exporter of Danish products or services can nominate their agents and partners abroad as possible recipients of the award.
Danish Embassies, Consulate Generals and the Danish Export Association may also nominate candidates.
