Latest: Six people dead in Chinese mining accident

Latest: So far, six miners have been found dead while 47 are still missing, after a coal mine collapsed in northern China on Thursday, Feb. 23.

The accident happened when an open mine in Inner Mongolia collapsed and buried many workers.

The rescue work in the 180-metre-deep mine was hindered by several landslides.
