Legoland Malaysia celebrates Chinese Year of Horse

Starting 24 January 2014, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will be holding its unique LEGO® building activity in conjunction with Chinese New Year. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, guests visiting the Park will be able to build LEGO Horses using their imagination and creativity. The Horses will be displayed at the Beginning area of the Theme Park and provide a great photo opportunity for guests.lego_horse

The Park is also challenging guests to build a total number of 888 LEGO Horses. The number is considered to be symbolic of prosperity and the building challenge is expected to last until 9 February 2014. The two week challenge will see guests building with more than 20,000 LEGO bricks.

“LEGOLAND Malaysia is the perfect place to be for families during this holiday season. Our building activity is focused on giving children and parents the opportunity to bond and engage in fun learning. With the Resort now fully complete, families can also stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel and enjoy both the Theme Park and Water Park,” said Thila Munusamy, Director of Sales and Marketing for LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.

LEGOLAND Malaysia has also lined up an array of other interesting activities for the celebration month. This includes Lion Dance performances and Chinese drum performances. Special fireworks displays are also in the plans to dazzle guests on the first and second day of Chinese New Year.

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is open throughout the Chinese New Year period. The addition of the LEGOLAND Hotel has completed the transformation into a Resort and means families can check-in for an extra special Chinese New Year.
