Legoland has opened its largest water park resort in Malaysia’s Johor state, which borders Singapore.
Highlights include the Build-A-Raft River, where kids can make their own craft out of bricks, and Joker Soaker, which dumps 350 gallons of water on those below.
This is a unique holiday destination for the entire family to enjoy,’ said Siegfried Boerst, general manager of Legoland Malaysia Resort.
‘It will offer adventure, education and fun for action-packed day trips or longer breaks.’
There are six Legolands worldwide in total: Malaysia, Florida, California, Germany, Windsor and Billund in Denmark, where Lego was born.
Lego is a portmanteau of the words for ‘play well’ in Danish and was started as a wooden toy company in 1932. It’s ‘Automatic Binding Bricks’ entered production in 1949.
