Minister Counselor for Agriculture meets with “spear head” company

The Danish Minister Counselor for Food and Agriculture in Malaysia has met with the Danish company Aqua Partners that is a spear head company in introducing new land-based aquaculture technologies called Recirculated Aquaculture System (RAS).

Henrik Hagen Olesen, Minister Counselor for Food and Agricultre at the Danish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, met with Mr. Fuz Rahman, In-Country Manager & Business Support at Aqua Partners on 13 August 2018.

Danish Aqua Partners is leading in introducing Recirculated Aquaculture System (RAS), which is a new advanced, land-based aquaculture using environmentally friendly production techniques.

“Good business as well as for the environment,” writes the Embassy of Denmark in Kula Lumpur on their facebook page.

RAS makes it possible to produce popular consumer fish such as salmon in land-based, closed, in-house facilities, using advanced and efficient production techniques.

Henrik Hagen Olesen started working as Minister Counselor for Food and Agriculture in the beginning of August 2018.
