The finalists for the 2015 NBCP Awards have been selected, ahead of the awards ceremony taking place at the Annual Northern Lights Dinner & NBCP Awards.
The Board of Judges of Nordic Business Council of the Philippines, Inc. chose the finalists as follows:
Largest Nordic Employer in the Philippines: Iss, Nokia, Transcom
Fastest growing Nordic Company in the Philippines: Energinet.dk, Grundfos, novo nordisk
Nordic-Philippine CSR Activity of the Year: Lauritzen Kosan, SKF, Transcom
Outstanding Employer of the Year: Grundfos, Nokia, Transcom
The winners will be announced at the gala night on March 26, at the Fairmont Makati Hotal. The NBCP Awards Gala Dinner follows on the success from the previous year’s (2014) edition, inviting you to a night of celebration among the vibrant Nordic-Philippine business community.
Established in late 2012 NBCP is a Filipino registered non-stock, non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates trade, commerce, industry, and investment between the Philippines and the Nordic (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) and Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) countries.
NBCP aims to fill a void that had been created by Nordic embassies (excluding Norway) and trade promotion organizations leaving the Philippines. They strongly felt that a there was a need to form a business support organization to serve the Nordic business community in the Philippines, and to help bringing in more Nordic investments to create jobs and to fuel the growth of the Philippine economy.
